Sheilas Wheels Magic

The Sheilas Wheels Magic application is part of a larger advertising campaign designed to promote the brand and a discount.

The Facebook application presents two simple magic tricks to the user, these are simple and engaging and can be viewed by anyone whether they are logged in or not. When the user has finished viewing the trick they have the opportunity of sharing it with their friends.

 

The agency I was working for came up with the idea and visualisations, I took these and built the application.

 

During development the application has undergone several changes, initially the application required the user to select a friend to play a trick on. The friends were fetched dynamically and displayed to the user in a Facebook esq. grid format, this initial version required the user to authorise the application in order to use it.

 

The current version of the application uses the Facebook JavaScript API to share the tricks so no authentication is required, the tricks themselves are implemented using JavaScript with visual enhancements provided through CSS3 animations.
